Questions

When does Shaka launch?
The alpha is in use today. A TestFlight beta opens to the early-access list next, then the free App Store release. See the roadmap.
Is Android planned?
Not for 1.0. Shaka is built with Expo, so an Android version is possible later if enough riders ask.
Where do the forecasts come from?
From the usual weather models, AROME, ICON, GFS, HARMONIE and more, in the colours you already know. Live wind comes from station networks such as Windbird.
Do I need an account?
No. You can record up to 5 sessions, create spots and alerts without one. An account keeps your data when you change phone.
What happens to my data?
Your sessions are yours. Delete your account in the app and everything is gone within 30 days. Spots you shared stay for everyone. Privacy policy.
